Marilyn Chin
Marilyn Chin is an award-winning poet and the author of Hard Love Province, Revenge of the Mooncake Vixen, Rhapsody in Plain Yellow, The Phoenix Gone, The Terrace Empty and Dwarf Bamboo. She has won the prestigious Anisfield-Wolf Book Award, the National Prize for Literature
that confronts racism and examines diversity, in Poetry category. The Award recognized
her most recent book of poems, Hard Love Province, published in 2014. She is currently a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets.
Marilyn was a member of the creative writing faculty from 1987-2013.
David Matlin
David Matlin is a novelist, poet and essayist. His collections of prose include "How The Night Is Divided" which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award, "Prisons Inside The New America: from Vernooykill Creek to Abu Ghraib" and "It Might Do Well With Strawberries." His collections of poetry and prose include "China Beach," "Dressed in Protective Fashion'" and "Fontana's Mirror." His next Novel, "A Halfman Dreaming" is being published by Red Hen Press. His work has appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies.
