Meet Our Faculty

Each MFA course in Creative Writing is taught by an award-winning poet, essayist, or fiction writer, all with an extensive body of published work, who agree upon the same professional principles of running an MFA Program. 

We view our aesthetic diversity as a strength of the program. Students will find a varied and informative approach to the writing process from each writer with whom they study. What remains common practice is our willingness to privilege the manuscript dialogue. It is not unusual for members of the MFA faculty to have book consultations with a student over a two or three-year period.
